A day in a life for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst

  • Build authentic relationships, partnering with our clients to assess their needs through conversations to understand organizational and business goals. 

  • Collaborate with clients and team members to determine data needs and potential solutions based on best practices and contextual understanding of the people, systems, and technology in the organization.  

  • A desire to accept the challenges of growing into a servant leader through a multi-year development process. 

  • Working under the direction of consultants / senior consultants / directors to analyze and develop solutions and deliver value to our clients. 

  • Provide tactical support for client or internal day-to-day needs. 

  • Using expertise, knowledge, and past experiences to provide insights in supply chain strategy, specifically in how it intersects with data and technology. 

  • Developing strategies because of network design/optimization studies and solutions that you have helped create. 

  • Delivering analysis-driven strategic and tactical advisory solutions. 

  • Assisting in sales process with potential clients, including but not limited to Discovery calls, negotiations, and SOW creation. 

Requirements for the role: 

  • 1-3 years of supply chain experience. Examples include practical experience in one or more categories pertaining to warehousing, ocean export, domestic trucking, inland port and rail operations, using best practices and KPIs, inventory planning, demand planning, supply planning, etc. 

  • Demonstrated ability to comfortably and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.  

  • Persuasiveness – Utilize interpersonal styles and techniques to gain acceptance. Must have the ability to persuade stakeholders internally and externally 

  • Dealing with Ambiguity – Must be able to work on a smaller portion of a larger project; must be able to work on the task at hand and deal with the occasional unknowns 

  • Analytical Skills – Must be able to compare and analyze relevant information and identify key issues. This includes seeking and organizing information and conducting relevant data analysis. Excel proficiency required. 

  • Technology Focused – Must have an interest in cutting-edge technology, and show passion for learning new skills and tools. 

What will put you ahead:

  • Tableau or Power BI experience 

  • Network Design and Optimization Experience 

  • Consulting experience 

  • Project Management or APICS certification, MBA a plus 

Location:

  • Memphis, Chicago, or Atlanta Preferred. We balance the needs of our clients for hosting our consultants on site with the desires of our consultants.

  • Where desired and where possible, we will continue to work remotely with our clients.
